MaamJay, What a wonderful article. Thank you.
In that article there was a link to an article about girls with aspbergers and I found an answer to something I've wondered about myself. "[G]irls with AS prefer to spend time with boys, as they are often more straightforward and thus send fewer confusing social signals."   For the most part I've never gotten along with females and always had male friends. I always just assumed I was because I'm catty.

That is an interesting article. However, I've found it easier to spend time with girls rather than with boys. Most of my friends are girls with only a couple boys as friends. On the note of writing, I've always excelled at that in school. I guess because it's easier for me to get out things in writing than it is to verbally communicate.

I beatbox, so it looks constructive. (the tongue-clicky thing)

and do not mind derailing the thread. If you were not to do it, someone else will.

:D

Realistically Neurotypical people are on the Autism Spectrum.

Just a little update:

at work I asked to be moved to a section where no one was at and it was just me, the computer and the phone (and the customer).

I had to visualize a flowchart to get through the day. Sticking with a consistent ruleset, I killed it. Still, there are lots of sounds.... and I have tried looking for local places that specializes in the Autistic Field so I can get more definitive answers. I do not have time though for I have to get ready after this post.

I do have an intense dislike for most males, but that is because they are not open to the Big Ideas thing. Females tend to be a bit more open about speaking of such Big Ideas.

Something about that article... a few things... stood out. A nice article!

Thanks Lips of Lusciousness. :D

Again, thank you All. I'll get a handle on the details in time.

Hey Pyro,
I really admire the grace that you seem to be handling your current situation with. I know these sorts of diagnoses can be hard to cope with but you seem to be accepting your situation magnificently, and making the best of what you're handed.

Also, In the past few months I've been doing  a lot of research on Celiacs disease and gluten intolerance, and have found a great deal of information about links between gluten and Asperger's. You might want to check it out, as it seems that a lot of people struggling with Asperger's get at least some symptom relief just by eliminating gluten from their diet. If you do decide that this is somthing you would like to give a try, let me know. I've been gluten free for 4 months now and have amassed a lot of knowledge on the subject that I would be more then willing to share with you.

Good luck,
Simone
