Can't you see that white flash halfway down the top jet? And see Blitzen's harness? It wouldn't flap like that at Mach 2. And look at the shadow on the second plane--obviously Photoshop. And clouds like that would only happen immediately after an explosive charge.

Clearly, most of this was filmed with Santa flying around a sound stage.
