I agree, there is not one person who never has told a lie. And, in that moment of lying, they have left their faith, preferring the lie to the tenants of their religion.

Do try and follow. When you claim to be a christian, for example, you claim to follow the tenants of that religion. Once you stop following the tenants of that religion, you are no longer following that religion, and are no longer OF that religion. Really, this is not that hard to comprehend.

Its pretty simple logic. And the act of confession as well as the act of atonement would back me up. According to christian faith, god gave a list of commandments, and the law that they were to be followed.. no exceptions. No where was it written that you could lie if.. you could steal if.. ect. Once you break one, you might as well have broken them all... there are no minor or major commandments that i recall.

No. No agenda. To anyone out there reading, to whom it may concern, Believe whatever you want. I just wanted to know why people believe in God. I AM NOT TRYING TO GET ANYONE TO SWITCH. I ALWAYS desire to understand and learn because most of the time (80%) I think I'm stupid. Yet you seem rather perturbed that i wont settle back, play good girl, and allow you and your friends to bash those who hold a spiritual belief. At the time of that posting, i do believe i mentioned a muslim school that was promoting only the teachings of their religion inside a school that was paid for by taxpayers and federal grants. So, yeah, while you are determined to rid the world of christianity (which is all that is ever mentioned by atheists on these boards) i stepped up and proved what you were obviously missing beneath the scenes. This is also a rather hypocritical statement for you in that every time it's brought up that a Christian is doing something harmful you're quick to play the no true Scotsmen fallacy but when a Muslim does something it's their religion that's "doing far sneakier things".
