I always try to answer letter sent to me, and always try to ask a question, ect. I personally always suspect ones that have to keep cut and pasting in response to answers with specific questions of being non-English speaking scam artists using a free web translation site. It is hard for them to get the gist of my letters, maybe :)

I've said it before so I won't belabor the issue. Real men outnumber real women here and communications from men to women vastly outnumber the other way around. The men are hunters; the women are pickers.

Some hunters will select their woman and learn all about them from their profile, their posts, their photos, their proclivities, etc. ... but most won't. Most men will simply fire as many darts as they can fire in a day and then fire off as many the next day, and the next, and the next ... all in the hopes of landing a bird or two out of the bush.

Those men reuse their communication weapons, i.e., they cut and paste.

PS: I'm not one of "those men" btw, as anyone who has communicated with me can certainly attest to.

Before I get the inevitable "I'm not most men", I'd wager that most of the cut-and-paste hunters are NOT spending a whole lott'a time on these forums.

Guys who are on these forums are not in the "most men" category; they're in the select group of those who actually respond and ebb and flow with the tides of the context.

They who post on these message boards most likely do not cut and paste ...

Heckzactly!!!!!

which is why I always question the point of more threads on here giving tips on how men can get more responses from their messages

This sort of thing doesn't surprise me one bit. There's a considerable number of people out there who appear to have lost the ability to communicate effectively. It's like you can be speaking to someone, you see the light in their eyes, you can even have mental pictures of cogs and wheels whirring in their brains, but their response gives you the impression that they've 'Gone To Lunch.'

I get the impression that most people on the other side have a fixed idea of what sort of relationship they're looking for and what sort of person they need or want to have that sort of relationship with. I call it the 'Happy Shopper' mentality, for they come on here with a mindset no different from that when they're browsing e-Bay, Amazon dot com, or even their local supermarket online. You take on secondary importance to them.

In fact, you might as well just be a jar of coffee or a set of precision screwdrivers.

There's very little input, or even desire to acquire any sort of input. Communication for the sake of it, assumptions are made, very few actually ask any questions or bother to find out. You are a domme, a submissive, a Master, a slave, a fuck buddy, a play partner, whatever but you the person deep inside doesn't figure.

Most are just interested in what image you present and what (if anything) they can get you to do or get out of you.

And the classic is when they add insult to injury by asking 'What is wrong with you? Why can't you find anyone? There must be something wrong with you.'

You should answer with random sentences like:
The screwdriver wasn't in the drawer.
I named my cat Sushi.
Movies today leave much to be desired.

See what that gets ya....

That's a good one. Or write back in another language completely.

You don't have to know the language, just fish random words out of the dictionary (a bit like some people do with English, I feel, if I recall some of the messages I've received in the past).

That tends to throw them completely.
