I am a sub also, but not just a "bdsm submissive." It is my nature to be found pleasing. If I don't think I have pleased someone well, I remind myself that I am a bad girl, even though I am not. How much more punishment should I recieve than emotionally and psychologically beating myself up? Since my Sir knows this about me and figured it out very quickly, I am not "punished" like alot of others I read about on bdsm boards.

Are dommes any different than doms? I think not. It sounds to me that you possibly might think doms are men that punish without reason and punish harshly as if no woman ever did so.
Emotional punishment is the worst in my book. Belong to my mother for one week.
Effective discipline is called "effective" as if corrects an error and if suitable for a particular person.
I don't look for things to be bad about, I look for things to be pleasing to him.
If I am rewarded, it is his desire. When I need correction he gives it without emotionally destroying me.
