Well, that's an interesting take.

I wonder if someone who has been raped has ever gone on to ever enjoy their life? To spend time with their family or friends, To share and enjoy good food, a sunset.


You are probably right I would like to be murdered far more than being raped.

I would say it depends on the circumstances..... there are crimes and then there are CRIMES...

I think genocide is the worst...

Raping is up there pretty high on the list... especially little people (and I do not mean the grown variety)

Hurting the innocent; children, animals, defenseless ones (for whatever reason) physically, emotionally, sexually.

To waste a life. To waste one's own is bad enough. But people who pump out kids and don't teach them are worse than one who commits genocide.

I think it's a very strange question to ask. Crimes vary with the people involved and the circumstances.

However, to go back to your statement, rape is something that one can survive. Murder isn't. On that note... I'd like to say that there are no such people as "innocents", and that very young children are regularly involved in horrendous cases of violence and even murder. Defenseless is another matter. There's something particularly heinous about committing violence against those that cannot defend themselves.

All in all though, a strange question to ask...

I think that there are some crimes that can be committed against people that murder would have been an act of mercy for the victim. There are some things that time doesn't heal. True, I suppose the opportunity for healing is there as long as someone is alive, but I don't know, there was that one girl who was kept in a room by herself and no one ever talked to her, it was horrendous. It makes me so sad that people can do these things to kids. It breaks my heart to the point that I can't even think about it or mention it or talk about it. I could never be a social worker or a psychologist, particularly if I had to deal with child abuse cases, it would literally eat me alive. I can only imagine what the actual crimes against those children do to them for life. It kills me.
