Yes, indeed it was, in a vein of humour similar to that found throughout much my introductory post, which was clearly lost on most. I really must say, I was initially baffled at what an awfully sensitive bunch of people there is here, considering we're all supposed to be aroused - POSITIVELY - by harshness of expression, whether delivering or receiving it.

But it's all clicked now, your revelation about the matchmaking cleared that up for me, a Dom and a wifebeater share nearly all characteristics except the most crucial; consent-seeking. These types also don't have much respect for authority, hence the apprehension when I questioned the site.

Myself, utterly new to any of this, really here to get inspired up to a point and then be able to give it, but always knew I'd be a Dom, a subcontinental upbringing will foster that. But a loving Dom, at that, I'd care her like a loving master should.

In fact, lemme start off by contributing, not taking; Subs, take a page out of JFK's book; when your master favours you with an unearned smile, ask, "How may I serve you better, master?"
