Well I'm not quite that bad Holly, but I could go my whole life and not miss it. I rarely eat sweets but when I do, chocolate isn't one of them.  [:-]

Good. Means there's more for the rest of us!

I was very upset last week to discover there wasn't any in the house. We played, I didn't get enough sleep afterwards and was very teary. I finally found a small amount of chocolate chips and ate them. After that I was back on keel.

Sometimes I just need chocolate.

Zephy if I get any chocolate tomorrow I will send it to you I promise!!!! Better you come get it.[;)].

I better get something a little more sparkly....there is a certain bracelet I "suggested" in a shop downtown. lol. Such a brat.

Aynne *ho for sparkly things~

Thank you Aynne. It just breaks my heart to think of all that homeless chocolate. I would love to come and get it but current finances won't allow for that. I'm guessing that you will be getting something sparkly though.

Awwww Hols, not you, it's just that we chocoholics cannot comprehend anyone not at least liking chocolate. It's beyond our frame of reference.

A bacon chocolate library . . . bacon and dark chocolate and the word 'library'?!?!: swoon!

fluffypet61 -> RE: How important is chocolate to you? (2/13/2010 8:04:14 AM)

Place my vote in this group.

I occasionally will eat some dark chocolate, and it's better with mint, but I don't crave it ever.

And, milk chocolate (in all its forms- cake, bar, mousse, whatever) is a migraine trigger for me, so it's easy to say no.

Vosges is truly decadent! I think they have Godiva beat, though, I wouldn't exactly toss Godiva out the window.

Not available here in Canada......YAY!! [>:]

LaTigresse -> RE: How important is chocolate to you? (2/13/2010 8:33:53 AM)

A house without a sturdy supply of good dark chocolate (no Hershey's type crap) is not a home.

I am perfectly fine with people that do not care for chocolate. It means they will stay out of MY chocolate.

Those lovely blue foil wrapped Lindor truffles never fail to put a smile on my face.

Never seen this either, neither in Germany nor here in the UK....

my lifelong favourites are MILKA and RITTER SPORT...chocolate which is assumed over here to be chocolate such as cadbury would be the right sort of chocolate to get me off that treat....it just tastes horrendously awful [:'(][:'(][:'(]

DesFIP -> RE: How important is chocolate to you? (2/13/2010 11:44:29 AM)

Seems I volunteered to take their share first. How come Zeph gets all the chocolate?

Goes off in huff!

Ritter Sport is good.  Had some the other day, the dark and marzipan kind.  Mmmmmm...

Cadbury is still one of my favorite Easter chocolates, though. [:D]

Hunky,

Your poll does not really have an option for me.  Yes I do eat it and like it.  Especially dark chocolate.  I keep it in the house all the time.  But I do not eat it every day nor feel a need to.

I would like to mention that Fluffy makes EXCELLENT dark mint chocolate.

Well, you could happily have all cadbury which would end up at my place...currently my 2 main supermarkets took in milka, downside is they both only took two same particular flavours....(milk chocolate and cow style, which means milk chocolate with milk chocolate parts on top of it like the pattern at a cow fur) and whilst I like those flavours, particular the milk chocolate one, I do prefer a lil bit more variety...

And on top of that both brands withdrew my favourite flavours in the 90s...Ritter Sport had one called Olympia which was hhhhhaaaawwwtt in its taste...I am surprised that they don't even bring it up for limited times during Olympic games [>:] and Milka (their wrapping is lilac) had a gorgeous one called muesli....I still miss those 2 flavours big time [:(][:(][:(]

Makes note to meet Fluffy many many times (I wonder if a meeting of the minds over the miles counts?)
