My Dom and I have a romantic relationship complete with hand holding, lots of smooching, and pet names. I've never had anyone treat me as well as he does. Then when he grabs me by the hair and throws me down, calls me names, and pounds my body into the mattress/ground/car seat/grass etc during rough sex it gets even better. I find the disrespectful sex part incredibly romantic. That is what works for us and we managed to find each other so i'm sure you can find someone with views similar to your own.
