I reluctantly admit you guys are probably right that these guns are made in the north and because I don't like hypocrisy I really would prefer those jobs and manufacturing operations leave the state of New York or Connecticut or any other state that has tough gun laws. I'm not going to research it because I'm more concerned with that 15-year-old girl shot in the head during her Christmas shopping, but I know guns are made in Texas and some other states in the South. quote:

ORIGINAL: Archer Hey Brain which southern state was that shotgun manufactured in???????????? Because last I checked the top 3 US made pump shotguns were Remmingtom ( manufactured in NY) Mossburg (Manufactured in CT) Winchester (formerly manufactured in CT) Now which of state is now considered "Made in the South" Uh, I gotta go with Archer here, and even then some, it is historically accurate to contend that there isn't much in the way of medium to heavy industry in the south (all the iron rescources were and are in the north, amongst other things) one reason they had poorer equipment in the civil war and lost, by the simple fact that they didnt have enough steel to make steel frames for their guns, they had to use brass which stretches and therefore becomes inaccurate under pressure. Still today, the biggest employer in the south is the United States Military. Ron
