It is expensive either way. Criminals cannot commit more crimes when they are locked up. Leave them in jail and save the cops and prosecutors the time and expense of doing everything twice.

How much do those stationary bikes with generators cost? Oh and how much electricity would 200k-300k of them provide?

I have a wild idea!
Why not get treatment for those that are mentally ill while they are incarcerated?
Those that are severely mentally ill could even be put in mental institions under maximum security.

A few of them, might even get better.

We can't afford help for the mentally ill. Obama spent all the money bailing out the big banks.

So I guess the answer to EW's question is definitely not tonight.
Google TARP and stop with the nonsense.

Geez. Obama's bill ? All 3,100 pages of it on his desk the first day at his new job, and it's his bill, like he wrote it ? Gimme a break.

Next we will have a division between partisanship and nonpartisanship. Further divided, and more effectively conquered. Without a shot fired I might add.

When did you hear "Without a shot fired" last ? Look it up folks.
