Hell I'm not even sure how you are connecting a decision not to seek re-election to the President's doorstep......seems that according to Bayh's own statement it is working in Congress that rankles him....not the occupant of the Oval Office.....you guys really need to do some connect the dot exercises before you start these threads !

They shouldn't get cocky either. The people are upset at all of the usual suspects, which includes the Repubs. I would venture a guess and say that it will depend on who fields the better candidates this fall, and not so much on the party they belong to.

They shouldn't get cocky either. The people are upset at all of the usual suspects, which includes the Repubs. I would venture a guess and say that it will depend on who fields the better candidates this fall, and not so much on the party they belong to.

The only prediction I feel safe making is that third party candidates will do better than expected.  My hope is that disgust with both major parties will make third (and maybe fourth) party candidates viable.
