Whiplashsmile4 -> RE: What does it mean to be a Dom/Master to you? (2/17/2010 8:58:20 PM)

First and foremost, my focus has always been upon what does it mean to be myself as a human being. In terms of what it means to be a Dom/Master, I reflect upon what I mean to myself, what my relationships mean to me and those I'm involved with mean to me. The depth and meanings can and will vary accordingly. I do not treat all people equally, however this does imply that I lack a baseline code of Human courtesy, ethics and moral values. When social group norms are not condusive to my own internal codes of conduct or ethics, I can and do rebel. I will challenge the norms and/or group authority figures. Challenge however does not imply confrontational means nor force. This is but a scratch upon the surface of who I am as a person. In many ways I appear as rather bit of a swash buckling pirate. A little rough around the edges, like to laugh, have a good time. I'll venture into questionable places. There is also a side of me that's rather a Celtic Druid that bonds with nature and enjoys the simplicity of nature. There's a part of up that goes upscale and enjoys some of the so called finer things in life. Often, I'll break people's notions that one way or another. Some people only see certain facets of who I am. That's reserved for those closest to me. I will be what I will be, not I am what I am. I care not to wear those chains of self imposed bondage in a state of helplessness. This is one of many governing ideologies possessed inside of who and what I am. Things like this translate into who I am as a Dom/Master.
