I feel so... so selfless.  I wonder if they award Nobel Prizes for kink.

SweetDommes -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/16/2010 9:49:02 PM)

I tried to feel left out and offended by the fact that I didn't get a message from him ... and then I realized that I should really be relieved, because as tired and cranky as I am at this point (working 6 days in a row, when I'm used to only working 3 days a week sucks horribly) I'd probably give him all the verbal abuse and humiliation that he is craving.

dreamlearning. Do so wake up from slumberland why dont you? "Probably, if they complain like this after just joining the site today. [8|] " Absolutely nowhere in my message was there any complaint. I made a valid observation which was not a complaint.

Dark Steven. Thank you for your well intentioned comment. I am however, a slave and not a celebrity and feel it necessary to inform about my antecedent experience. I am not here to make friends or foes. Different women will obviously respond in different ways. Few people are exactly alike in anything.

AlfredBravo -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 9:11:58 AM)

Lucienne,

I have heard that imbeciles frequent the boards just to insult contributors because they have nothing else better in life to do. I know of absolutely nobody who can spell ever several hundred thousand words in their language correctly. Also English English has many spellings different from American English. I was born in the former and so my spelling differs somewhat.By the way, I did use spellcheck so blame the programmer.

AlfredBravo -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 9:15:17 AM)

Jefff, Question whatever you like! You did not live my slavery life or the fact she practiced the draconian form of slave ownership often called "Old Guard" though what that means exactly is often open to debate and interpretation.

AlfredBravo -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 9:19:30 AM)

Sweet Domme,
What you fail to realize is that you and the other mindless playgamers and deliberate insult flammers have only found one spelling error. In a spelling test I bet that I would score higher than most if not all of my critics here.

"English English" is properly called the "Queens English". So culturally speaking you're having a problem making that work for you.

Secondly, try not assuming what "Old Guard" means and researching. "Old Guard" has very little or nothing to do with Draconian measures and more to do with military standards formed and associated with men returning from World War II with no other outlet. This is true in both the heterosexual world as it is with the gay world, though gay men's measures took a distinctive turn for sexuality in the motorcycle clubs as opposed to hierarchy that was more of a focus for their straight counterparts. "Old Guard" in terms of consensual slavery and SM starts with the gay men. While instances of SM activity can be dated past this time frame, it in not institutionalized in a social sense until shortly after World War II.

This is not hard information to find so keep trying to sound like you're more "experienced" than you are. You fail to do show any experience or "training" by your lack of respect for the Women here.

In Leather,

boi

Iizi,

Nothing is typical. You are now engaged in trying to make your own inner prejudices look like they are my own thoughts and words. I am compensating for nothing. I am just using my own individual style to try to get a genuine loady slave owner interested. None have so far read my threads, only playgaming, fantasists have read my threads.

Also you could've condensed all of those replies into one post instead of the several you used, Op.

No woman wants to slog through your profile. It's just that simple. It's -painful-.  You might want to stop trying to prove how smart you are and start writing a profile with the purpose to -attract- a woman. To be honest you come off as some pseudo-intelligent know-it-all, and someone I'd never find fun to be around, fun to dominate, or fun to spend any time with.  You sound stuffy, annoying, and somewhat pedantic. Honestly...the bottom hasn't fallen out of the market. There's just no market for -you-.

Dear Mr Bravo,

I'm English. No, really, I am.
I know how to spell 'elementary'. It does not have any 'i's in it. That does not change, no matter what side of the fishpond you are on.

Lucienne is no fool. She is perfectly capable of reading correct English spellings and seeing them for what they are...

'Elimentary' is not one of those spellings.

Madame4a -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 9:32:09 AM)

Now this is definitely the way to go about finding what you want.  Please do keep working it this way, and all the other responses you have made.  You will, without a doubt, find what you need and deserve.

Wow. You're also an internet psychologist I see. Now I can't understand why NO ONE has snatched you up yet. Op. Here's a clue; assuming things like that tends to get you seen in a negative light, Scout.  Pedantic, Pretentious, Pushy, and many other P words, some of which I feel I shouldn't say, but all of which describe you Op.  I suggest at your age, growing up might be appropriate.

I freely admit that I'm a gamer ... but a "playgamer"? What, exactly, is that? I'll be honest, I couldn't manage to get through your entire profile, so I'm guessing that there are more than just the one spelling error. The whole coronary thrombosis thing just stood out to me because I'm in the medical field, and the "elementary" typo was in the same paragraph.

And I'm with Jen on this one - it's properly "British English" or "the Queen's English" - even I, as a "dumb American," know that.

CallaFirestormBW -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 12:44:05 PM)

~after having read through the entire thread~

Alfred,

Perhaps you might want to consider starting from the beginning -- giving yourself a completely fresh start, and remembering that, regardless of what you've learned over the past 17 years (presuming a measure of suspension of doubt about your history, as I don't know you, and cannot know its veracity), a new Keeper will have her own preferences, goals, rules, and expectations -- so your current knowledge may not serve you in the least. Thinking that through might help you to refrain from bandying insults about and alienating the very demographic that you claim to be interested in serving. In addition, learning about active listening and toning down the rhetoric and braggadocio in your presentations might also invite a bit more interest.

Just a few thoughts.
Calla {Fire}Storm

Dame Calla, I applaud your desire to encourage and offer helpful insight! You really are a role model for me when I get into Cynical Mode!

(And you are just generally cool and made of win anyway. [:)])

Alfred, thank you so much for making my point for me again. My point being that the bottom hasn't fallen out of the consensual slavery market...your problems finding a suitable owner are there because of you.

Your attempts at telling us what a wonderful speller you are negated by the numerous misspellings your profile and postings here (loady?). Don't give me any crap about how it's the "English English" spelling either. Your endless and obviously cut and pasted profile text is not an advertisement that any self respecting Domme would respond to - it is you that is hindering your search. No one else.

There are Dommes out there, they just don't want you. I am not making this up as you said yourself that you haven't had anyone real respond to you. Obviously there ARE real Dommes here and not one has snatched you up yet or even been remotely interested. Thank you again for pointing that out. So obviously I am not speculating as to where your problems are....it is completely obvious and reiterated by yourself in fact. Your 'style' is the problem dude. That and your propensity to blame anything else other than that. I cannot stand people who don't take responsibility for their own faults and foibles and try to blame their lack of progress on anything else but themselves where it squarely belongs. It's so juvenile. It's like sitting outside in the winter weather and wondering why you are cold: It's because you neglected to put on a coat. Occam's Razor...look it up.
