I've been resisting that gag for DAYS.

*Somebody* had to say it. [;)]

Hmm, if someone in suspension bondage falls on the auctioneer during a slave auction, I *guess* that would count. Sorry, I'm in the mood for puns this evening.

Also English English has many spellings different from American English. I was born in the former and so my spelling differs somewhat.

Dear Mr Bravo,

I'm English. No, really, I am.
I know how to spell 'elementary'. It does not have any 'i's in it. That does not change, no matter what side of the fishpond you are on.

Lucienne is no fool. She is perfectly capable of reading correct English spellings and seeing them for what they are...

'Elimentary' is not one of those spellings.

Yeah, we don't even spell it like that in Canadian English!

Anyhow, the OP wrote to me again to tell me that according to his logic fallacy, because I didn't believe he was legitimate, this proves I am a fake and an imbecile!

Ladies, looks like we have another winner ;-)

I guess I'm a fake and am imbecile as well. I must say, I feel I am in good company.

Andalusite -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 7:15:27 PM)

I have tutored English through the freshman/sophomore college level, and poor spelling wouldn't *personally* be a dealbreaker for me. This is particularly true if they aren't a native English speaker, or if they have a learning disability. This particular person's profile comes across as very fantasy-driven and his posts are very whiny in tone, so his spelling seems a very minor factor in comparison.

He hasn't bothered to reply to me at all. I feel left out :( Quick, someone call me a fat, unattractive pseudo-Domme. Now!!!

Don't feel bad, hon.  The OP didn't respond to My comments either.  Not here or on the other side.  I don't think he was counting on any of the regulars of this board actually having been in his location.  It really is quite a small world, after all.

PhoenixRed -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/17/2010 11:47:11 PM)

FR

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If the OP is the same person I think he is, he puts out this story of long-term slavery, being limited in mobility in the household, sleeping in a closet or basement for years. His former *owners* have either died or moved to another country. Many times his *previous owner* has set him up with his next live-in position, then business forces those owners to move out of the country. He really does like sticking with the "former owner was a school teacher" angle. He has been doing this for YEARS now...he tries to engage a Domme looking for a live-in slave, talking all about the vast experience he has. He is more than willing to provide narrative about his Draconian existance, but doesn't ask any questions of the person he's talking to except for what their "training methods" are and how he's to be "kept". Again, if it is the same person I'm thinking of, he is married and just does this as online role play. Sometimes he'll send a message saying that he doesn't believe in any of this at all, but likes to talk about it. Sometimes, his profile is just suddenly deleted. I wonder what itieration this is....has to be at least 100.

Given the warnings by you lovely people, I did not read the OP's profile. However, just recently having a short correspondence with a man that said essentially the same things under another profile name, that was suddenly deleted, I'm betting he's just re-surfaced under yet another profile name.

Just sayin.....

I think that was rather a fly in his ointment. It gave me a hell of a chuckle. :D

Also My god I've come to loathe the married roleplaying folk on this site, at least the ones who're dishonest about it.  I almost have a kind of...well not respect...tolerance maybe, for those who admit "hey I'm married, I only do this for kicks and I don't plan on actually meeting you."  They don't get what they want, but I at least don't call them horrid names.

SweetDommes -> RE: As the bottom fallen out of the consensual slavery market? (2/18/2010 2:31:32 AM)

Yeah, honesty really is the best policy - too bad so many can't seem to figure that out.

Of course, another random thought ... if he's really "English" and speaks "English English" *gigglesnort* then why would his parents sell him off to someone in America? Surely there are people in GB or Europe that would have taken his sorry butt ...
