Someone turned me on to this band a while back. (It does not have a happy ending-check the translation.) But I liked the emotional effect of it on me.

I really liked that. This song was done by a group called Imam Baildi. You can't get it in the states at all, I have no idea why. Not even download to MP3. It's a remake/remix of a very old Greek song that sounds as though it was recorded in the '30s. This video isn't that great, but it does give the translation to the lyrics.

It totally depends on my mood, what I want to listen to. One day it may be old southern blues, big band, newer R&B, old rock............all in the same day. Another day it may be classical then Prince.......then old George Jones.

Right now, I'm listening to The National and Of Montreal obsessively. Overall, my taste is highly eclectic (erratic, even) and ranges from quirky synth pop to early 80s power pop to hardcore punk to 20th century classical. My perennial favorites have to be Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, The Magnetic Fields, Pulp, The Stooges, and any Julian Cope project.
