DS, yes, that is Helen Reddy! Back in the 70's, everybody and their brother had a variety show on TV in the US, and she was no exception. I think it only lasted a season or two.

I don't know why, but Tiny Tim made me think of this one:
Jackie Blue
Little Willy
Rikki - Don't lose that number

I love listening to music. I like most of it but certainly not all of it.

I love Prince!

I love old school R&B, new R&B, I love classical, and some ballady type stuff. Aaaaaalllll kinds of music...

A few I am feeling right now...

Lollipop/Ron's song

Alright now Ladies Lend me some sugar, I am your neighbor

I like the way you sing along

Skinny Love

She really gets me high

Crazy Cover by Ray

I saw Lollipop and this is what I was thinking of!

I never heard the Skinny Love song or the Body Rockers before, those were great. Skinny Love reminded me of Todd Rundgren's Why Can't We Be Friends?

Where are you when I'm needing you?
So far away, so far away. It makes no sense
I think you are the most important to me
My sunken footsteps put theirselves (sic) on through this gallery of deceased

Someone's always on my tracks
In a dark room you see more than you think
I'm out of my place got to get back
I sweated a lot, you could feel the violence
I've got shears pointed straight at my chest
Time moves slower when you count it
I'm better than them and I think I'm the best
But I appear at midnight when the films close
'Cause I'm in a trance, and I sweat
I don't want to dance
I want to go home

Been out all night, I needed a bite
I thought I'd put a record on
I reached for the one with the ultramodern label
And wondered where the light had gone
It had a futuristic cover lifted straight from Buck Rogers
The record was so black it had to be a con
The autochanger switched as I filled my sandwich
And futuristic sounds warbled off and on

FR

I thought you said intense.

Metallica - Seek And Destroy

Played it today, a jar of something shook off the top of my fridge, don't know what it was, just tossed it into the can. People say I am crazy with the volume levels, to which I respond "Yup. that's what I paid for".

Ok, I'm disturbed by the lack of Slayer in this "intense Music" thread..

that's better, Hmmm, and speaking of feeling inspiring songs bout werewolf's, Here's something completely different....

Always liked crass, they got some good "intense" stuff

this one you can tell was a wee bit inspired by the who lol

And I defy you to find something that's better to rock out to while dodging traffic at top speed on a two stroke death machine then this

always had a personal affinity to this one
