I can just see Lat and Generic dude swiggin' straight out of their bottles of jack, while driving through the fields of Iowa. Red neck country tunes blaring out of their car while generic dude aims a spot light on any creature that crosses their inebriated path. In the meantime, LaT, while maniacally laughing, tries to run them down.

Status: offline 		It was a doe, and since we were about 8 miles from home with a severely damaged little 4 door sedan, at 7pm, in the dark.........I didn't really care about the deer. I am sure the bald eagles that have been hanging out there all winter, enjoyed the fresh venison as an alternative to all the pork they have been eating.

Damn Kamakazee deer of Michigan!  I wanted to write my thesis on the effects of seasonal affective disorder on the kamakazee deer of Michigan.   Too bad (not really!) my proposal for a study had not been taken seriously.  We could have possibly had happier, less suicidal deer in Michigan, with the proper adminstration of light therapy and Prozac.

Events going on that weekend....baseball at Wrigley, Lollapalooza, Market day. Pick and choose what you want to do. If you can arrange a group to join you for whatever you plan on doing then by all means do it. Post your plans here so people can see the options.

I know that we are gonna see a ball game, hit a museum, find a local public dungeon to observe, most likely Market Day too.
We will be there from Thursday, August 5th until Sunday, August 8th.




Is this still on? No one has talked about it lately, and it's getting (fairly) close.
