ORIGINAL: WinsomeDefiance This has been bothering me. I respect a persons identity choice. I've known a great many confident and assured cross dressers, transgenders, etc. I have respect for the prejudices and obstacles they face, just being the person they know themselves to be. So why is WendyDarling/Alices sexual idententy an issue? Aside from how blatantly offensive and insulting of others this individual has been in the past, does it really matter? I had to ask myself, where did the shock and offense come from, exactly? And how would my jokes about WendyDarling/Alices sexual identity be perceived by others reading my posts about it. It occured to me, that I was not proud of my behavior. I was wondering if anyone else would notice that. I would not expect anyone else to notice my concern for how my behavior in my own posts, might be perceived by others. That's not what I was talking about. I'm referring to the way people so easily stigmatized Alice's sexual identity simply because they do not like her. So many prejudiced people just waiting for an excuse to flaunt their prejudice. No self-control whatsoever.
