Your daughter is losing her baby - even with abortion, it's gonna hurt her emotionally and physically. And she probably knows it by talking to others.
She's lost her dad's love.
She is single (or is she ?)
She is pretty sure you won't love her much either.

What she needs is your love. All you need to do is to be loving and straight. I

If I were her dad I'd say "As a dad, thinking about a child not coming into this world rips my heart apart - what if that child were you? But I love you, and I want to take care of you. It probably won't be easy, we both will probably get on each other's nerves often and have a zillion fights, but I think we have enough love between us to see this through."

Time doesn't heal wounds - it gives you the ability to handle the pain - only love heals.

Get out there and support your daughter as best as you can

Dear jali,

You are a strong, courageous woman who has the love and support of a good master and many other wonderful people.  You have done the best you could in a very difficult situation.

Love and Light,

When she recovers from this it might be time for a "safe sex" chat with her or put it in a letter. You don't want the  next encounter of hers to result in an STD or another abortion. I think you handled the situation very well jali, and i'm sorry for the  loss of your grandchild.

Jali~*
I know this is a day late, but I hope you are feeling better.
Like BitaTrubal my daughter became pregnant at a time she had little support also, and things have turned out wonderful for all of us. I have a darling granddaughter who is the light of my life and has even wrapped Master around her finger (talk about Shhh... don't say what you're thinking!)... but this is just what worked for us. Having a baby is not right for everyone.
The important thing is that your daughter decides powerfully what is best for her, so that she can continue her life feeling responsible and good about her choice.... be it having learned a difficult lesson, or as a single parent. If you truly have no opinion, or are not sure what to suggest, then share THAT with her! It's ok for her to know you are just as torn as she is.
I am sending you both the warmest hugs and best wishes that this becomes an opportunity for the the two of you to pull through together and be closer for the experience, regardless of the outcome.

ianna
