I often tell sub men who are discouraged that they should not worry about there being ten jillion sub men for every dom woman. The reason not to worry is that most "sub" men behave the way you are behaving right now. So if they act respectful, they will immediately stand out from the crowd.

Please treat women with respect. It's not just a good idea, it might get you laid.

Why?--because when I read them, it was obvious that the great bulk of the responses to male subs from the "dommes" such as Lockit were just gratuitous berating. Respect...even (perhaps ESPECIALLY) for a domme or a master...is EARNED. Part of earning that is exercising some modicum of SELF-control. Relating to the hapless males who dared to post here and to the countless multitudes who are frightened out of posting at all (which, I would speculate, constitutes a majority)...I chose to try to introduce some levity. I am unapologetic---sorry.

So you weren't kidding. You take a jab at us, when we ask you to explain you say you're kidding and now you come back and say you are serious? Seriously.

In general, when people come here respectfully, they get respectful responses. I'm not going to sift through threads to prove it to you. The fact that a handful of awesome boys come back here and chime in these boards regularly is proof enough for me.

Now you can make your experience here pleasant or miserable. Your choice.

you did not seem like you where trying to be humorous ... but simply passive agressive or snarky ... you did not make anything obviously 'funny' such as useing emoticons or just putting in the words "a joke"

but if that was your intent ,... let it go and show your graciousness and humour by how you react to any percievied prodding and poking .... so far its neither funny ... nor charming

and it certainly doesnt matter what others do .... if you want people to take you as funny charming humorous etc etc then you need to make sure your comunication style portrays that ... and just because you percieve someone else does not behave the way you want .... does not mean you get to blame them for your reactions and actions

I gave you the benifit of the doubt on your first thread ....... but you have not shown yourself in anything but a self focused slightly bitter light .... I am not sure if that was what you where really trying to potray

I directed one serious response to one person: RedMagic1 (and him alone) because it was clear that he was trying to be constructive and sober.

My experience here is exceedingly pleasant.

No, it is obvious that the great bulk of responses to irritating posts and posters is scorn from CM members of all genders and orientations.

This is not a place that suffers fools gladly.

Those who write a good and well thought out post, on the other hand, tend to be received very well, again regardless of gender or orientation.

Actually, years of watching the message boards have shown me that the overwhelming responses to any postings are neither well thought-out nor well-written. In fact, it is clear that the initial posting isn't even read carefully before some shrew (and they tend to be the same ones) reflexively calls in a carpet-bombing air strike.

Again: where is the "jab" in the initial posting to this thread? Anyone? Class? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
