I'm trying to figure that out too. I thought that whole obedience thing was kinda vital to the dynamic.

The either/or you have presented does not exist
being masculine does not in any way define someones ability to submit or obey, and a large amount of sissies I have met  have not been weak... some have presented as wimpering and possably passive agressive ... but they are generaly not more obediant (in fact in my own experience they are less interested in obediance and more interested in their fetish )  nor are they better at transferring authority than any other fetish orientated person  ....  but I am not interested in any one who defines themselves by a kink

Traits I look for in a man....integrity, respect, courage, honor,compassion, honesty, a sense of duty, intelligence,creativity and humor. 

Are those seen as alpha or beta traits or are they simply labels? 

Why would I want to "break" a man?  "If you let people break your spirit and detour you from your path, then you have not been true to yourself or those you're here to touch, those who believe in you."  I want a man who is true to himself and to his nature...whatever that nature is.  That's more attractive than any "broken" man...alpha or otherwise.

That being said...OP, how did you come to the conclusion that alpha males are "strong" and beta males are "weak sissywimps"?

OP, I'm not a Mistress, but I'll try to address your question.

You seem to feel that the Domme's aim is someone weak enough to submit to her, and the question is, does she enjoy the process of remaking him to be a submissive, or does she want someone who wants to submit to her from the get-go?

I would suspect that they would rather someone submit because it's their nature to do so, and that it would not be due to weakness.  The image of the snarling Dominatrix and the whimpering, groveling man is from porn, not genuine relationships (although it could be a nice roleplay scene).

C.  A strong alpha-male who is seeking power exchange, and who will gladly submit to your leadership.

Hello everyone,

Add me to the option C fanlist as well.

Breaking someone doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, and having someone who is "weak" doesn't appeal to me either.  I've had submissives that fall within both categories over the years, and neither situation makes me happy.
