Working on the bids part. At the moment his Lordship is busy sitting on me and chewing on my favorite sweatshirt. It's ok, he's punishing me for not letting him burrow into chair cushions.

And Blushes, I have told him. I am somewhat concerned for the safety of my bits but I told him! :-D

Nika reminded me that ferrets love to eat most anything, but they have tiny intestines and even small amount of fiber can cause them bowel trouble of the surgical kind.  They also have a tendancy to develop diabetes as they age and the risk is directly dependent on how much sugar/carbs they are exposed to throughout life.  It is best to keep them away from grains, fruits, and vegetables.  They are what are called obligated carnivores which means that they have to eat meat almost exclusively or suffer the consequences.  Please be careful about what you feed them beyond pellets and supplements from reputable sources.  If it's meat, it's probably safe.  Anything else out of the cupboards or the fridge is a risk.

Oh and I think it's about time we form a subbie intervention for Aqua's denial issues.[:)]

We feed the ferrets, cats and dogs all on finely chopped lambs hearts, they are cheap, (discard most the fat and artery) and most of all they love it, some supplementation with high quality/protien cat biscuits and ta dahh, perfectly healthy animals who don't smell and have firm faeces.

Addit: No-one has taken up the fertility issue here, maybe because if there is only one gender there is no problem, there certainly is when there are 5 males and 10 females....lots of loving come early spring!!
