And this was the real reason for this thread, yes? i don't see that you were really here seeking a thoughtful discussion of "Old Fashioned Slavery."

Yet another reason i identify as "slave-wired" instead of "true slave" in my search - to avoid this sort of thing. The right Owner for me will know what i am, and that's all that matters.

These sorts of "Real Slavery" interactions, in my years of experience, tend to burn out fast and hard - and never go well. i truly wish you the best of luck.

Old fashioned slavery? I'm assuming you are talking chattel slavery- the enforced servitude of one person to another, where the slave has no rights? How do I feel about it? How do YOU feel about it? Since enforced servitude takes decision out of the process. If someone were to force YOU to serve them, someone you did not give authority over you, do you think you'd be warm and fuzzy about it? Still think it's a great idea when you YOU are the one being enslaved? Or your children? Or your parents? It's a world away from anything that even you are considering, as your would-be slaves are seeking service. "Old fashioned" slaves had no such luxury.

I'm sure the Nigerians are lining up in your email offering slavery galore. That really isn't proof that anyone genuine is interested in your 6 sentence profile which lacks pictures and interests. Realistically what living breathing woman would be willing to sign her life away on 6 sentences and nothing else? They don't know what you look like, what conditions you'll keep them in, what they are expected to do...they're just supposed to offer themselves up. As CarrieO pointed out you state you won't even answer questions and you state in your profile that you just want someone to willingly adopt you as their instant Master and offer service to you with not a single bit of information about yourself. Right....I have a hard time thinking any of the inquiries are genuine.

The word I highlighted in the quote above...offer....negates the concept of slavery in historical terms as posed in your OP.  By saying someone would 'offer' you their service, without getting a thing out of it for themselves,  means they can't be a slave in the terms you originally set out.

Status: offline 		They do burn out very quickly. Most start with people who have a fantasy basis of "how it works" to begin with Raven. It's set up to be a train wreck from the get go with that approach. Owner types are often intuitive empaths.Which is a communication match for owned as well. You pick up a great deal from nuances,body language and energy fields.

I love these sorts of subtle interactions. Especially when you see someone who wants so much to overcome to please-and how they sometimes so willingly endure suffering and emotional discomfort to go there. I could not engage in these interactions without the element of choice being available.

My conscience would wreak havoc on my desire. I think this is the main difference between real slavery-and what we do.

this slave isn't too crazy about the "serve or DIE" aspect that is so prevalent in the old fashioned slavery model that you speak of---but the part about being His property and pleasing Him being this slave's goal is right up her alley.

Using force, law, society, and other means to control someone is about controlling their external behavior and is meaningless.

Now, controlling someone's INTERNAL behavior is an entirely different matter.  It requires inspiring a desire to actually be obedient, not forcing them to fake it.
