The Question still remains...why is cash cheaper?

Should it not cost what it costs?

How can a man your age ask such a stupid question?
Cash is immediate...money in the bank and earning interest before the sun goes down.
Insurance company payment comes thirty, sixty or ninety days down the road and lots of hiccups along the way.
Giving discounts for cash is as common as the sun comming up

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Miguel de Cervantes

So even somewhere as early as the mid 1500s or so they had cash figured out.

The opposing watchwords came somewhat later:

I will gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today.

Wimpy.

Not to mention, cash can go into the picket and not be reported. What business owner doesn't prefer cash??? Geeze!

And as I pointed out in my personal experince, cash is not cheaper when paying for healthcare.  My doctor accepted $77 in insurance and co-insurance payment but would have wanted $156 if I were paying in cash.  I'm a girl so obviously I'm really bad at math but I think 156 is a bit over twice 77.  I mean 145 is more than 77 isn't it?  You might want to check my arithmetic.

If you would like to ask a legitimate question you might rephrase it to "Why is cheaper if Rush Limbaugh pays cash?"

This may explain a part of why its cheaper...

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 20, 2007 -- Administration associated with health care claims and billing accounts for nearly one out of every three dollars that patients spend, according to a nationwide survey of executives from hospitals and insurance companies.

In contrast, more than three-quarters (76 percent) of the U.S. consumers surveyed said they think that health care administration should account for just 10 percent or less of total health care costs, with a large majority indicating they would be 'highly upset' if those administrative costs were as high as 30 percent. Approximately eight in 10 consumers (79 percent) said they would like to see an itemization of the portion of their health care bills that goes to administration versus clinical care.

Eliminate routine visits and low cost procedures that shouldnt be "insured" in the first place but only cost marginally less to administer as a major procedure and voila, problem solved.

He is an individual citizen with a popular radio show. That's it.

He funds no Republican infrastructure, he has no say in the RNC, he's not elected to anything.

For not having any say he sure seems to have a whole lot of Republicans puckering up and kissing his chubby ass cheeks every chance they get.

Right..........another logical Willbeurism.

Let's abandon preventive care and wait till a health condition requires a major procedure.

That's sure to save money.

At least "Berra isms"when taken apart had the utility of making some sense...this new phenomena of "willbeurisms" just can't stand up to the same test....nor are they half as funny[:)]
