LOL, so if half the world is gone due to nukes your thought is that the first thing outta the bomb shelters folks is gonna hunt up gold? what are they going to pay for it with, money?

pahunkboy -> RE: WASHINGTON TIMES QUESTIONS WTC 7 COLLAPSE (3/9/2010 7:30:23 AM)

6000 years.

mnottertail -> RE: WASHINGTON TIMES QUESTIONS WTC 7 COLLAPSE (3/9/2010 7:37:50 AM)

The whale is undoubtably one of the largest mammals alive today. (You can quote me.)

pahunkboy -> RE: WASHINGTON TIMES QUESTIONS WTC 7 COLLAPSE (3/9/2010 7:42:02 AM)

The bible and the US constitution require that gold and silver is money.  Nothing else.

It is not too late to repent.

I am sure you can give a cite for each, because neither statement is true, so you are gonna need to do that, not just be told that it is so.

Ummm, since when does the common law apply to a fricken discussion board?  If you walked up to someone on the street and started spouting some of your more wild-eyed theories and they ignored you, that would somehow be a matter of the common law?

Jesus.

I should have known that you and shithouse boy would need a manual "nexus for dummies" to draw the connection.

shithouse,

Well, the praxis of the matter is there is no kinship with these ideas, there must first exist a legal argument or charge, which you aint got, I don't care how much string and tacks you play with.

FR

I would appreciate there being less name-calling in this thread, gentlemen. In a discussion it behooves each party to be respectful toward the other parties.

It is rather a classically carved in stone precept that modern attorneys will be solicitied to deal with the disposition of cases using modern laws, (if they expect modern remunerations with which they can subsist on), after all.

Current money is fiat.   People like money.   So who wants paper roses when real ones are much nicer.

Who would want roses, if what they need is food, shelter, clothing?

You know, if instead of investing in silver and gold, you were investing in making yourself self sufficient, that would make much more sense.

Keeping a vegetable garden, building a greenhouse, learning about basic husbandry of chickens and pigs, maybe even cows, acquiring those animals and all that comes with them, investing in solar panels or other forms of alternate energy sources ...

All this would make more sense in preparing for an apocalyptic society like the one you have been auguring about, than buying gold and silver.

Those metals hold only value because we have assigned it to them. Just like the evil fiat money you rant about. If there is a down break of society, metals only really useful for decorative purposes will not be valued very highly.

I am just passing thru.    I do plant a garden.

a coin now buys a house in Detroit.  At some point a coin will buy a house in my town.  I have all the time in the world. BTW- I planted 5 of my own rose bushes.

right the dumb shit always prevails

pahunkboy -> RE: WASHINGTON TIMES QUESTIONS WTC 7 COLLAPSE (3/9/2010 8:15:28 AM)

Sandra, of course it would be nice to do those things.  I am limited tho for now.

calamitysandra -> RE: WASHINGTON TIMES QUESTIONS WTC 7 COLLAPSE (3/9/2010 8:22:20 AM)

Then maybe, instead of investing in gold and silver, you should be investing in getting rid of th limits.

If your predictions will com to pass, that coin will not buy a house in your city, it will buy nothing. And you can not even eat it.

You have still not explained why you believe that gold and silver will retain any value.

Well we all have are own idea as to what we want out of life.   Picture you paying your bills with NOW currency.  the dollar is confederate.   So then how do you get NWO currency?     It is impressive if you already have NWO currency.  If you do- then you are all set.   But to those who hold dollars- they are as good as confederate dollars.  :-)  Once the cat is out of the bag- then it is too late.    But then you have insurance, right?
