It only just hit me after I joined this site, but some of you ladies here just have the sexiest minds...it's just a shame I'd never be a slave, but I'd LOVE the tussle for dominance with one of you, mental or physical. An even bigger shame women are 5% Domme, 5% slave, and 90% vanilla. If only the proportions were 45/45/10, WHAT a beautiful world this would be.

For the first time ever, I both envy and pity a particular group; your slaves.

Well, as this is 'ASK a Mistress', I'll ask; is there any part of you that yearns for a man strong enough to overwhelm you?

I get emailed OFTEN by male Doms, asking if I ever submit... The answer is very simply NO!

i don't think there is a name for it, but if i may suggest "normal" as an adjective ?
Dommes are human females. Knowing what they want and being confident in their ability to aquire it, well that kind of attraction should have mass appeal, imho.

The Dom/Domme couples I know do not tussle for dominance as they respect each other too much.

I love strong, confident men - provided they are deferrential toward me.

I have no desire to submit, or to have power struggles.  I seek harmony. 

ETA:  The name for Doms who find Dommes attractive is 'human'.  Many people enjoy confidence in the person they seek.

and I get the emails too... I don't respond.. they are a mix of the OP and the ones that want to submit..

I find lots of women attractive, even those I know are incompatible with me.  And that includes Dommes.

Hmmm. I'm not so excited by their knowing what they want and confidence, it's not quite those, lots of people know they want X and that they can have it by sacrificing Y, it's more the conviction of mind and the undeviating, unapologetic drive to achieve that goal I find scintillatingly attractive. I also disagree that Dommes should exert mass appeal (though they ought to, I agree if that's what you meant)

I do know that I'm pretty revved up by such women, but then I'm not a man of vanilla tastes in women in several respects.

There are Doms I have found physically attractive, but the prospect of blowing them without reciprocation, doing their dishes or sharing them with other women soon cooled my enthusiasm. (not that that's what all Doms want)
There are some Doms I like very much as friends, but there is something in my nature that attracts me to sweet, humble, giving males and makes me very unattracted to those with a need for control. I don't take direction well for very long.
I'll never say never, since there is a tiny part of me that has had brief submissive fantasies, but when a Dom proposes "taming" me, I find it incredibly repulsive.
That said, I have met some female subs who possess some very sexy minds, and know EXACTLY what they want, and even come across as dominant in the vanilla world.  I like to believe there is someone for everyone.

Agreed. I like them if they are good guys and can be quite submissive for me. It can be vanilla if they are sweet. I've messaged with many Doms who would like a woman who they can see as an equal or better.

I love in movies & TV when they have a male and female trying to outsmart each other... and obviously they're both hot, attracted to each other, and the naughty stuff ensues. Nice to fantasize about, but I don't have the energy.

No.  With strongly dominant men, their social signals, their body language and even their smell is all wrong for me to be at all turned on or attracted romantically.  If I like them, I tend to see them as friends and brothers, and they register in my mind as "same gender/same orientation", and are basically sexually invisible to me.  I can like and respect them, and I can even find them physically attractive in a still photo.  As soon as they move or talk, I usually read their dominance signals and the immediate response wired into my brain is "nope, wrong gender/orientation". 

A good example is if you are totally heterosexual, being briefly attracted to a passable transvesite until you can tell they are male.  Then you realize that they are in the wrong category for you to be interested, and all attraction turns instantly off.   Male dominants are technically the right gender for me to be attracted, but the feeling I get is the same as if they were not even male in the sexual sense.  They just don't register on my sexual radar at all.  I don't find it bad or offensive in any way, and I get along just as well with male dominants as I do with other women.  I just have less than zero interest in dating them.  As far as I can tell, it's fundamental deep brain wiring for me, the same as my sexual orientation.

Also, you may be mistaking strength for dominance.  Some of the strongest men I know are submissive, and it's a beautiful thing.  A warrior knight in honorable service to his lady is an inspiring sight, and one that does interest me sexually and romantically.
