I wonder where you get your definition of "mature", I suppose that the only mature people in this world are those that agree with you... which isn't the way I view the world... there are a lot of mature adults I disagree with on many topics..
In my world anyone that goes through this world taking care of themselves (or at least trying to), that others can depend on to keep their word, and does not actively try to hurt others is mature. Even mature people can behave immaturely at times, life is a process after all. None of us are perfect...

You know, when I seek, there are people that I have made connections with that were not all about sex, there are people that I have platonic connections with, friendship connections. I do not sense this being your purpose here, making platonic friends. Perhaps your life would be fuller if you had more room in it for different types of people instead of being so narrow.
There are submissives I have made friends with in this very forum that I remain in contact with even when I do not post here on the forum...

This I find very amusing, the part I bolded, Of course love was less of an issue than it is today! You had a biological mandate as a physically mature male human being, and that mandate was driven by your very DNA, which is to perpetuate the species... and part of that was to fuck women, even women that you may not love... wow, what a realization! Women, on the other hand, on average, care more about "love" because their mandate is to find a committed mating pair to bring up their offspring.
It is kinda amusing to me that you do not see a correlation between your diminishing testosterone and your distaste for "casual" sex. Do you think you are unique in this regard, Bob? You are not unique. Most men by the time they are a certain age slow down sexually to some extent, their big head does more of the thinking than their small one. Most men as they age find it more and more important that they share something besides sex with a female... this is not at all unique in my experience, even on sites that are geared toward sexual connections...
On the other hand, women seeking here are not all that focused on finding their one true love once their children are raised. Isn't that ironic, Bob? I mean most women on here I think still want to find a special someone, but that is not necessarily their only focus....
Just some observations about maturity and sexuality... conflating the two is not always going to work for your argument.
