Sometimes people get a bit carried away with the new thing they are learning... on this site about bdsm i have heard it called sub-frenzy, but i simply think it is mild hysteria and can happen with all sorts of things when people get a bit obsessed.

I do not think anybody would put the title 'doormat' on you in a derrogatory way at all... you have two men... i think you know what you want and are prepared to put the effort in to make it happen for yourself, and THAT is exactly what the womens rights things were always about... do not delude yourself too much, stay focussed.

I don't think it is really a sub frenzy type thing. I know I have a nice dollop of confidence, especially lately and having the ability to get the most out of life and live it on my own terms is due partly to the women's movement. That statement about the doormat has more to do with looking back on my life. I really do get run over quite a bit even now. People know they can push me around and I will just creep back into my corner and remain silent. That isn't always the case and people are often shocked when I get my nerve up or they hit the wrong button and I set things straight. The good news is that now that tendency is not exploited. It is understood and his strengths assist me in areas of weakness. I am very excited right now. That is because I hit a great breakthrough in my thinking and how I look at myself. It is all entirely positive and I am at a quiet peace with so much that's been gnawing at me for as long as I have been on this path. I kinda like it.
