And I should add especially Scalia, Roberts, Alito and Thomas of the United States Supreme Court, right-wing extremists.  I wouldn't be surprised if they are all Roman Catholics. By the way does anybody know if George Bush became a Roman Catholic as was rumored?

Funny! So "Catholics" are all right wing gun owning extremists now?
Brain, you need to get away from the computer for a few hours each day.

Yep, every wife or husband should murder their other half to prevent domestic violence.

Well at least you're not a hypocrite.... just a bigot.  WTF does this have to do with the thread?  Time to step away from the computer.

TheHeretic -> RE: The irony ... oh, the irony! (3/5/2010 6:39:50 AM)

Well, it certainly seems like the blind bigotry doesn't stop at Republicans, now doesn't it?

The people who need to use their brains are those who say we need to have guns to 'protect' ourselves; that's who needs to start using their brain.

Having used a weapon in defense at home, I personally have no problem with people who choose to be victims and those who choose to protect themselves. You can figure which group you fit into there, brain.

Vendaval -> RE: The irony ... oh, the irony! (3/5/2010 8:12:49 AM)

My first question is whether alcohol and/or drugs were involved. The Faith Trust Institute does not address the shooting on the Website as of yet.

I don't think that was ever in question, except in the running "gottcha" game.

All rightie then.  I see you have plunged right over the edge there with Real, Term, and the Hunk.

To be fair, he's been dancing on it for a while now.

Yeah but I used to give him the benefit of the doubt like I did Hunk,  That he was just misguided rather than over the edge nuts.  Boy was I wrong on both counts.

America has had more than a few "over the edge nuts"...Sam Adams.Tom Paine,George Mason,Nathan Hale.
I am not convinced that "over the edge nuts" are unnecessary?

Obviously, this is his fault because he should have carried a gun to defend himself. I don't know how hundreds of  times I hear people say here they need to have their guns to protect themselves. So IT IS HIS fault.

Back before I quit drinking, when I lived in Atlanta (how can anyone be expected to live there and NOT drink?), there was a bar near North and Piedmont that got a fair amount of attention from me. Rough place. The doorman/bouncer would frisk you for a gun when you entered. If he failed to find one he'd loan one to you. Management knew that without one you'd leave feet first....
