Hi everyone.
I been on these boards I guess around 3 years, under oceanwynds, wisdomtogive and other variations. Some have come and gone from these boards, well others, like me have changed their names. I was thinking the other day though, what inspires the regulars to keep coming back? For myself, and I do not yet consider me a regular, but close to it, I do appreciate the diversity of answers given to questions and the majority of the people here. I know if i post a question, i will get a variety of answers, which is what I am always looking for. Many on here have helped me in my darkest days through cmail, and just hanging in there with me. I have found a community of people that I care about a lot. Anyways, that is why I keep coming back, and could assume that is why others do, but wanted to hear it from others. Not one to appreciate assuming anything.

Daily Cm boards get hit with people whining, so lets hear why we come back.

Good question.

Although at times I wonder why myself...
I come here:
To make friends
To debate issues
Because I may be bored at times
To read and learn about people even if it only serves to backup what I already think.[:D]
To laugh and have a good time.
To let out my sarcastic arse of a side.

Tons of reasons.
I take breaks from time to time but I do enjoy it here for the most part.

Despite the ugly stuff, there are some very wonderful people here. Nuts most of them, but I like nuts and I'm kind of nuts myself. When we do get some informative threads or topic's or some great discussions, it's wonderful, but through the ugly, the laughs keep me coming back.

I like to debate, I like to make people laugh, I like to share music and other topics of interest.  This place is easy access for all those activities. 

ETA:  It's also pretty succinct in comparison to fetlife.

A few of the people here- I do talk to off the boards..

I took a break once or twice- but find over all this crowd is decent.

Even tho I get mad at one or two.    But then- it is mutual.

i love to read, i love to learn, and i love to consider other's perspectives on things that make me think. i also hope sharing my experience and perspective on things may be of help, or at least of use, to others. It's the reason for the first quote in my sigline.

And right now, i have put many other things on hold in my life while i am meeting new potential Owners - i need to be available, and i am goal-oriented in how i manifest things in my life. So posting things and reading keeps me focused and in the correct headspace during an otherwise challenging time.

And i've made some wonderful new friends as well, who i intend to keep up with even if i do not participate much on the boards in the future. [;)] Perhaps that's the best reason of all. [:)]

The boards are full of people with some great, although twisted senses of humor.  They make me laugh.  It's important that people do not take themselves too seriously.  They also have some points of views that I'd never considered before.

That is one label I will accept for myself too, I am totally nuts. Wish I could send nuts to everyone..you know those cashews and other kinds:)
