how come no one ever responds to being paged

Maybe because some of us don't do command performances from stranger's. Most who im me are strangers and their profile shows me I wouldn't want to talk to them even if I were the chatting type, which I am not. If I am going to give my time to someone, it is someone I know, someone who has actually read my profile and someone that isn't trying to get some cam on cam or kinky sexual chat on the fly-by. Someone who really wants to get to know me will read my profile and email me. Someone who wants a lil cyber action typically im's.

paging someone you have never introduced yourself to is the same as bellowing "Hey you!!!" to a stranger in a crowd.

Send a c-mail to introduce yourself, and ask if the person would accept a chat request.
