He was trying to get a shock from you and he succeeded. He's now sitting back, laughing at you thinking how funny it all is. It's a daily occurence on sites all over the net..not just bdsm ones. Happens more often right around the holidays and breaks when kiddies are out of school. Block, delete and forget about him because tomorrow there will be another saying similar things and you'll need to delete and block again.

No, OP you got an email from a guy who SAYS he's in Michigan. Do you really think if he is serious, he is going to a) tell someone ahead of time and b) tell you where he is? I think it was someone having fun freaking you out and nothing more. Besides, as others have said, there is nothing that can be done before he does anything.

Someone saying they feel they have the right to do something is not the same as someone doing something. People cannot be convicted for saying they want to do x. Wanting isn't planning and plotting. However if you want to forward it to the FBI, they are the proper authorities for possible crimes taking place in states other than your own. Your local 911 is for emergencies in your county only.

i hate to play the age card, but i imagine when sickies see a young sub's profile, they're in boner town. again, not playing the age card, but he's prolly assuming everybody the op's age who he writes is inexperienced and easily influenced. good on the op for being worried, tho. don't let some of the responses make you think you're crying wolf or anything. you went for advice when you got extreme red flags and i guess that's always the right thing to do <3

So because I'm 19 that just automatically makes me a 'drama queen' (even though it's your own story in your own head, and you've got some strange ideas about me)? Gee, I'll keep in mind that I don't deserve to be taken seriously, talked to like an adult, and that anyone older than me has the right to look down on me while creating all these elaborate ideas about me and my life. I gave up trying to win approval from people a very long time ago, but that doesn't mean it doesn't irritate me when some jackass laughs at my CONCERNS over some crazy nut job threatening to murder women.

I agree, getting advice for red flags is the right thing to do. And she got lots of valid advice and real perspectives about what to do and what not to do.
