I don't turn down good food or drink when I am hungry or thirsty. Why would I ever turn down sex from someone I was attracted to? However, I don’t drink shitty beer or eat crappy food … no matter how bad someone wants to give me that food for free. The things that sexually attract to someone are not physical alone. It takes personality, poise, common goals and passion to attract me.

The way I look at it, I don't want to go to bed with anyone i wouldn't want to wake up with. Do you find this is something that developed in you as you grew older and more aware of what works for you and what doesn't, or were you always somewhat this way?

I have turned down sex with someone I was attracted to many times. Most of them were because unlike my exhusband I was not going to break my vows until after the diorce was final. Others were because unfortunately, a pretty face and an amazing body cannot make up enough for the lack of a brain. I dont do casual sex or one night stands, so if there isnt something there that will make me want more than just sex, I am out. DV

I like when there are lots of peeps at the top of the thread, it is nice and crowded in here, whatcha got folks huh? I turn down sex if it doesnt feel right to me. I have at times said no to someone I thought was hot for whatever reason but not that many times.

I have had some absolutely jaw dropping, Earth shaking, Jesus squealing casual sex. The kind of shit that makes your hair and your teeth fall out. you get older you kind of slow down and you focus on different things. Maybe it's because you slow down, maybe it's because you are getting older? Who the fuck knows. Now I dig the companionship and familiarity that a relationship brings.....I am totally done with one nighters?....God, I kind of hope not. They can be kind of cool. Sometimes it's interesting how they develop after the initial bangage. Sometimes getting a hold of a piece of strange is exactly what the doctor ordered. I have seen my Doc in quite some time, maybe it's time for a checkup?
