Did you get the number?  I would turn their asses into home land security for fraud! (in writing)

I would also do the no call list complaint and put them on that too.

I just got a new census form this week.  I'm saying new because I got one months ago, I think around in November or December.  It was very long, and looked a lot like that long version I saw in the link, even down to the have you been mentally ill question.  This one seems to be around 5 pages of who lives at your home and what race are they. 

Just how many of these farking things do I have to fill out?  <growls>
I wanted to trash it, but the envelope says :  YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY LAW.

I'm putting it off until Monday.

Did anyone else get two doses of census papers, or am I special?

sounds like you got the long form..or two copies of it?? or did you get a statisics census also?

also, AJ was supposed to be on C2C, but I guess they didn't have time for him. I was hoping to hear him yellin' LOL

you know why they take the census is so they can borrow money from the feds.

The same money that you paid to the feds, they borrow and then charge you taxes which is the interest on the money they borrowed, get this "that originated from you"!

Fathom that....  taxation with closed ear representation. and all sides of the isle are guilty as sin all the way up and back down to the county levels.

Its all fraud.

came4U, I've gotten two totally different census papers, one copy of each, and months apart.  The first one was like a book.  This one is small but annoying.

Sounds like you got the census plus the American Community Survey:

I am not advocating anyone not fill out the required information, or break the law. I just know I wouldn't and won't and will risk the fine/jail. I mean honestly, it would red-flag you, but hell if MANY people resist the fact that it is unconstitutional then it is possible they might back off, but I doubt it lol.

tazzy, that was the origional idea for the origional years of census in calculating population--so one state didn't have MORE representation than another in congress.

no 'also' about it, lol

there are constitutionally 3 questions allowed. Name, address and number of occupants (for state tally).

I guess my point in this is that we already register...

We all have social security numbers (mostly...and should not be used for tax purposes but they are for some odd reason) and we all need either a passport, state I.D., or driver's license. If they weren't so damn lazy at the census office, they'd have all the information they want from sending out the census. We as citizens are already on the government radar one way or another. The census doesn't add anymore to that than doing your taxes every year does. It's just a consolidated place for a very minor, easy to find, bit of information.

Just sayin....
