And ever since the first census in 1790, they have asked about race. (negros only counted as 3/5 of a person for representative purposes back then).
if You can find the 2010 long form which is exactly like my other link, then do so, since I cannot find an online version, but they are exactly the same (with more added questions this year) I only found the short-form:
http://2010.census.gov/2010census/how/interactive-form.php. As far as race is concerned, I never exclaimed they didn't ask race since conception, I did claim that there is no reasoning for it at (except as used as a form of profiling).
