I suppose right wingers will come to his defense saying he was just trying to make a point about healthcare reform. Of course, this was a stupid thing to say and it doesn't surprise me that it came from a conservative. Well this is only further proof that the conservatives shouldn't even have a hand in health care. Clearly the voice speaking here doesn't understand that Reid's wife would either be in surgery for a few hours or in a brace for a few months. Her injuries were not life threatening nor did they have significant impact on her quality of life had they not caught these issues unless she was in a secondary accident within the recovery time. Compression fractures of the spine occur rather frequently, especially in older men and women. These fractures only become disasterously dangerous when the fracture leaves free floating bone fragments near the nerves of the spine or if the fracture itself compromises the integrity of the spinal structure. Compression fractures alone don't always require surgery. The medical science behind this incident is the misunderstood part, not the health care. I love dumb conservatives that really only make themselves look like asses. Let me put it this way....if conservatives don't have the reading comprehension or drive to understand that Reid's wife was in no life threatening danger, do you really think that these same conservatives have a reading comprehension level to be able to understand the complexities of a health care bill? boi

Ok. I have to agree with Sanity here. One voice does not speak for the party, unless it states it does. If he had said the republican party feels the plug should be pulled... then you can make a blanket statement about the intelligence level. But it was just one man. A stupid man. A moronic man. A man incapable for caring. But it was just one man. However, reading the blog responses, it does show the mentality of the conservative voter.

This simply amazes me... I know Dan will get pulverised by the liberal Jew-run mediafor saying this, but I am proud of him.
