So i guess we need to start watching all morbidly obese people to make sure they are moving and not giving in to NOT moving because they don't want too. Any child who is morbidly obese or hell even overweight we need to call DCFS on the parents because they have neglected their kids.
Aylee i do understand your concern and revulsion of her choice to do this. And yes, i feel bad for the child. But saying she is neglecting the child and insinuating she doesn't deserve to keep her child i can't agree with.
There are tons of people in this society who don't feed their children right, who eat wrong in front of them, who choose the LEAST moving way over moving and KNOWING all of this will cause them to gain weight. There are people out there who do this and who have kids. So the government and people like you should be able to observe them and say whether or not they are raising their kids correctly? Seriously, who the hell are you and who are they? I mean there are people out there who would say your being on this website and practicing bdsm in any way or d/s is a choice that could harm your child some would claim a moral or ethical concept, some would claim even a physical concept, some would say its a social concept etc.
While i don't agree with her choices, i don't think anyone here has a right to say that she is neglecting her child or she doesn't deserve her child.
You can ask the question of what will happen to the kids with EVERY overweight person in this society because for MOST people being overweight is HEALTH RISK. What about parents who have health issues they don't take care of by choice, i mean should we take away those kids cause what's gonna happen to them if their parents have to go into the hospital or die because they refused to take care of themselves?
If you see a form of neglect in this case, then you should with each and every overweight person who isn't actively trying to lose weight especially if they are GAINING weight annually. And especially so if the children are overweight or anyone with health problems where they could have a major health crisis.
Its simply sounds as if you don't like her choices and you are PRESUMING things about her. How do you know she doesn't have a support system set up for her child, i believe she has a husband yes?
Do you seriously believe there aren't people the same weight or heavier than her out there who have children? Do you condem them to your presumption they don't deserve their kids? Do you believe that people have the right to judge YOUR choices in your life when they may fully believe you are causing a neglect situation with your children?
I know i brought this to a personal level, but there are many people here whose choices have placed them in a position of public scrutiny because they enjoy BDSM or SM or D/S, and people who aren't a part of their life want to judge and presume things and claim neglect of children because of their choices.
I just think people on a website such as this would not be so eager to claim take away the kids because of choices of another.

Don't get me wrong, i don't agree with what she has chosen to do and yes i know the impact it may have on her family, but i can't say take away her kid without believing every morbidly obese parent in the world being scrutinized in their daily lives to make sure she or he lives as IF they want to be healthy and to make sure they are feeding their children correctly. If you do it with one, you need to do it with all and when does it start -- when a parent hits 300, 200, 500?
