People can make their own choices about their bodies, to a certain degree. But Simpson may not make it to see her daughter turn 5, not to mention see her older son — now 14 — grow up. I think she's missing the point about being a parent. To have legitimate weight issues is one thing. But what she's doing is like smoking 10 packs a day to set some sort of lung cancer record. Which I don't think they have, but that's not the point. To fund her family — and her quest to reach 1,000 pounds — Simpson runs her own Web site where people pay to watch her eat, or see her wash her huge body. The cash helps fund the family's $750 a week bill for food, which Simpson shops for in the mobility scooter she uses, despite telling the paper that's she's "healthy.""My favorite food is sushi, but unlike others I can sit and eat 70 big pieces of sushi in one go," she said.
