On a serious note, I read about this last night. I think that she should have her toddler removed from her custody. She is willfully putting herself in a position that she will be unable to care for her. She has stated that she tries to move as little as possible in order to lower calorie burning. This is not acceptable behaviour for someone taking care of a toddler as they tend to put themselves in dangerous situations. She also discusses all of the junk food that she eats. It is doubtful that her child is receiving nutritous meals. The binge eating that she does can be deadly. What should happen if she tears her esophogus or rips her stomach while her child is still in her custody? I will not even go into body image and self esteem issues. To add to this, the male in the household (I cannot recall if it is a bf or hubby) is supportive of the woman's behaviour and choices. For the child's safety she should be removed from this household. quote:

And Jessica Simpson thinks she has weight issues. Donna Simpson, a 42-year-old mom from New Jersey, already holds the Guinness World Record as the world's biggest mother. She was a whopping 520 pounds when she gave birth to daughter Jacqueline three years ago, becoming the largest woman to give birth. Now, clearly there's a difference between someone genetically predisposed to being large, as opposed someone willfully eating herself toward the title or heaviest woman alive. Which is exactly what Donna Simpson is doing, with a target of 1,000 pounds. http://www.mercurynews.com/columns/ci_14680296 !
