Submission to him probably. Beyond that it's going to depend on the individual dominant and, since I don't know every single dominant on the planet, I wouldn't try to paint them with one brushstroke.

From my experience, a lot of the doms who show interest seem to want me to be disloyal or at least dishonest since I've been told I don't know how many times that I should dump or cheat on my boyfriend so that I can have a chance to serve "him". They also seem to expect me to *always* look as good as I do in my best photographs, be utterly compliant from the word go, never question his authority and pretty much be ever horny, ever eager and willing to abandon any and all prior responsibilities that I may swiftly relocate to the vicinity of his bed/dungeon.

*sigh*

I've been reading way too many emails.

Seriously though, I think that doms are like anyone else. Depending on what kind of relationship you want with a submissive, you'd probably be looking for someone who meshes well with you. There needs to be some kind of chemistry going on as well because its not much fun to try and play kinky games with someone who does nothing for you ...

Well, no one can really know what all Dominants want, but i'm thinking some things would be universal, such as honesty, faith and trust in Him, integrity, obedience & compliance with His orders/wishes, willingness to serve in any & all ways at any time, devotion, intelligence, common sense.....things like that. I have no possible way to know what qualities a "generic" dom would want, but I can say I know the qualities my owner wants, and they are the ones I already possess - passion, humor, dorkiness, self awareness, the ability to know and like myself, love of music and movies, the way I submit and obey, compassion, consideration for him and his daughter, my particular sense of ethics and morals, and the overall way I love him and receive his love.

These may not seem like "qualities" at all to someone else, which of course is perfectly ok with me.

Status: offline 		Daddy and I have talked about this. He wants someone intelligent, a bit bratty but not obnoxious about it and silly and submissive but is able to guide herself too. He wants open communication and if I can't verbalize it I need to use my journal and if I still can't verbalize it he will teach me how. He also wants my love and he wants someone who will fit well within his poly household.
