Was I not clear enough,this has nothing to do with differing views on what might or might not be better....this whole thing between me and Sanity comes down to my viewing him as an outright partisan hater....one who is sitting back and hoping that President Obama fall flat on his face.Irregardless of the consequences that would entail for our country and for the citizens of this great land.
Sucess for Sanity ,at the moment ,equals failure for the country....and he is comfortable with that.
There is a whole lot more but I think that is enough of his laundry ....don't you?

Well, certainly enough hi-jacking.  [:)]

slvemike4u -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 1:55:28 PM)

Agreed.

Perhaps the sue menatlity has finally infiltrated the the miliatry and affects the soldier engaged in the act of war. The soldier loses every time, but a lawyer somewhere makes money to add to their stack.

The lawsuit mentality has effected the military.  This is one of the reasons that the "don't ask, don't tell" policy is still on the books.

I really did it this time, didn't I. I wound your rubber band way too tight and now its snapped...

psst "or" is spelled o r not o t....lol.I had actually typed "sweetie" and than for some unfathomable reason went back and changed it.....perhaps I am ,as Sanity suggests, a "moron".
Now onto the body of your post I do not for a minute believe that Sanity wants this country to be better...not if it is being led there by a Democrat....I firmly believe Sanity thinks the status quo is acceptable...and that the Dems should merely keep the seats warm until the results of the last election can be corrected.
While I firmly believe there are good and honorable people on the other side ofr the ideoligical aisle.....sadly ,in my opinion Sanity is not one of those...not by a long shot.
He is a bitter and scared little man whose inner ugliness shines thru with every bullshit post he makes.

TheHeretic -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 4:08:24 PM)

Seriously, I think we need to just put you guys in a room together with a bottle of Jack and not let you out until you find common ground on something.

slvemike4u -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 4:12:13 PM)

You do have an inflated sense of your own importance...don't you.

The poor guy - I told him how ugly he is, and now he is consumed and I almost feel bad about it...

If I'm not important, why do you devote your life to shadowing me?

Now Sanity. It isnt me that's hooked up with a tree out of desperation, now is it? Still, its good you havent gone for looks as all in all its vital to be able to talk with your partner, share interests and you know, relate to one another on a similar level.

truckinslave -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 4:51:56 PM)

Go to Blackfive or similar to check the rules of engagement in Afghanistan.

How/why these men do it is beyond me; it sucked bad enough in Nam. Better men......

Sanity -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 5:01:09 PM)

Don't talk shit about my tree, E. You can talk about my car or my dog or my mama all you want but don't dare dis  the tree. [:@]

Well that's that...Sanity thinks I'm ugly,there is now only one option left open to me.....goodbye cruel world,a soul as bright as mine never stood a chance once saddled with what Sanity described in another post as "butt-ugly"...care to join me Lady Ellen?Though we are a good deal older we can still do it up like one of those Romeo and Juliet deals.What do you say...a mad passionate love affair and than a cup of poison?

I can't imagine why the SEALS or anyone else in the front lines of the military would opt for reenlistment right now, with the way things are in Washington. Or the FBI or the CIA, anything of the sort.

I know I wouldn't.

I find your lack of patriotism somehow ...reassuring.

LadyEllen -> RE: Navy Seals trial (3/21/2010 5:40:23 PM)

Sorry Mike. I'm afraid I'm far more infatuated with a tree in Idaho and, (for heavens' sake dont tell Sanity), the tree likes me too. Seems the tree finds its current partner difficult to talk to and is looking for someone more intellectual it can relate to.

True, for a medic the politics wouldn't be such a big deal. Odds are the Dems won't ever try to make a scape goat out of you.

Is your definition of a scapegoat anyone who gets caught commiting a war crime?
