People and their profiles.

I keep finding profiles of Doms and Dommes who seek a relationship with a sub/slave while at the same time appear to have no regard for the safety and mental health of there prospective partner and use the excuse of belonging to the oposite gender as justification. One instance is a profile where a dominate wanted to castrate the prospective sub the moment he first submitted and another dominate that wanted to make the prospective sub beg for everything even food I dont want to stir up any trouble I'm just wondering if this level of cruelty and sexism in this lifestyle is as common as it seems if so I dont know how I feel about pursuing this lifestyle any longer. I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

See........I'd go the other way. Most people I read here seem to be concerned with their safety......sometimes neurotically so. I read....:"not doing x...y....z.....never"....and you think: "hang on a minute - keep an open mind". But then I suppose that's my take on what I expect from a woman...sensible but sexually liberal.

Must say it's the first I've heard of anyone proposing a castration affair. Mind you....the law of averages says that there will be one or two out there who are keen on it......but in terms of it being 'common'.....well....how about using some common sense here?

I think people who begin talking about bdsm by describing how they'd like to castrate someone and chop their limbs off should probably be admitted to a mental health institution.  As far as begging to eat, this type of fantasy where the Dom dehumanizes the sub is normal, but one must take into consideration the differences between fantasy and real life, and then make appropriate and healthy, logical decisions.  Otherwise, they may proceed to the nuthouse.  People like that are giving those who find meaning in a D/s relationship a bad rep.
