ORIGINAL: Thadius No worries, Mike. I was responding more to the blatant double standard that flcouple is trying to apply. I suppose I should have mentioned that there were more than just Repubs out there protesting... looks around double standard. where? Let me break this down into small words for you. If you voice support for a group (Such as the Tea Bags) and part of the group behaves in that manner and you don't speak out against it, you are just as guilty as those who did it. I don't care what the group is. There are groups I would never support because of some of the antics of members. So before you start tossing around statements like "blatant double standards" please check facts. I know there are several around here who never have a care for any facts, but I always thought better of you than that. See that is where I am included in your net. I have attended and support the majority of the ground swell from the tea party movement. There are some asshats that have tried to show up at various events, but I cannot be responsible for denouncing every idiot that shows up at each and every event. Much like I can be seen as condoning such behaviour because I don't condemn eash of the incidents. I didn't like alot of the outlandish claims against our now President with the far fetched guilt by association (or support from) with particular groups (The New Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, etc...). It took how long for then Sen. Obama to condemn 20 years of hate filled rhetoric from the pastor of his now former church? Mentioned just to make the point, about not every slight or lack of condemnation means that the associated person condones the behaviour or message of those that condemn themselves by their own words. You don't think there is a double standard (right and left sides of the pollitical spectrum) when it comes to holding people accountable for incidents like this?
