So, I have been talking to some submissive men, who claim to want to grovel at my feet like dogs, etc, etc, (I am sure you know the type), which I don't really mind. My main concern is the fact that a couple of them have asked to totally disappear from society, to hide completely away from their friends, family, and things of that nature. I know that that is just a little strange, and am thinking maybe my profile is coming across the wrong way. By saying that I will provide for my slaves, I am not saying that I will be allowing them to sit idly at home and never go out in public or that I will make their life easy, or that they will become rich in the process.

So back to my actual question * Would any of you ever agree to take on a slave in those conditions, that he/she not be out in public, or where their family could reach them? *

Also, comments on my profile are welcomed, good, bad, whatever they may be. And please, if you are going to comment on my profile, don't rag on my weight, I know I am 285 lbs, and am working with a personal dietician and trainer to lose that weight, more for my health than anything. So if the comments aren't about my weight, other criticism is appreciated.

It seems to be a common fantasy... I don't know anyone doing it.. and I wouldn't... ever..

Your profile? To be honest, I have to mention the 285 pounds as you seem very hung up on it, so much so that you mention it twice.. and you mentioned it here although it doesn't really have much to do with your post. I'd suggest you list it and move on.. anyone with half a brain is going to read your weight... it seems to be a real issue for you, so you're kind of making it an issue for others.. particularly the way you mention it... let it go.. it is what it is.. and you know.. find a picture you just love.. where you feel beautiful.. and post it...

Your profile confuses me. It states that you will provide a roof over their heads and a little salary. It sounds to me like you want a live-in domestic.

So what do you really want? Do you want him to hold a job outside the home? Will he contribute to the household income? For that matter, will sex be part of the deal?

If some guy has a fantasy and your envisioned situation is vague, he may well assume he'll fit in.

Regarding why you get so many men who want to disappear - most are harmless wankers, but some may have something to hide...

As far as your profile goes, it's not too bad, but it seems to lack some confidence. You're a young Domme - your main issue will be wading through the seas of men.

Thank you Madame4a. I am going out this weekend, and will be dressing up, so I will probably have a new pic for my profile. I AM kind of hung up on it, aren't I? I never really realized it. But I guess I should look at it this way, if a sub reads it, and has no problem with it, why should I, right? I will be working on my profile after this weekend anyway. I usually update or change things at least once a week.

Or, You could just put up an attractive picture of Yourself and not list Your weight at all. That way they could SEE how You look..... That's what i do, and some would be very suprised at what i weigh. (Not telling. lol)

No, I would not take on a male under those conditions. I expect a male to make my life easier. I see those who want to be kept from society as people who either misplaced reality, or have something to hide. I don't want to deal with the drama of either type, so I avoid them.

Now, if I could afford to keep a slave financially, I would permit him to remain at home and be a houseboy only - but in doing that, he'd still have to go grocery shopping, run errands, and other things that involve being outside.

As far as cutting him off from friends and family? No. If he has unhealthy relationships with those people and NEEDS to be cut off from them, then he probably has a lot of other unhealthy things going on that I want no part of. I live fairly far from my family, and don't get to socialize with them as often as I'd like, but, I do remain in contact. I'd expect they'd want to remain in contact with theirs as well. If they don't, then I wonder why, but I don't focus on it, I just move along.

i know i'm not a Domme, but if i read a letter like that, i would wonder if the author was a wanker, because it sounds like an unrealistic fantasy to me. Either that or they're looking to have no responsibilities or trying to get away from something or someone. my opinion is that even slaves need to do something to add to the home, so they aren't a total liability. When i move to be with Sir, i will be adding my income to the mix & doing things inside AND outside the home for Him. Of course, that's just my opinion.....

I've read the profiles of Dominants who wanted caged women who would give up everything for them, but if that is not what you seek from your subs then being as specific as possible in your profile won't lie.

Actually the "I want to live in your basement forever, being chained there, no contact to the outside world" is a common fantasy and I bet 99% of the guys who write you that type with one hand (I leave it to your imagination what they are doing with the other hand), my standard reply was "Thank heavens I don't have a basement" - I'm willing to bet that most of them are just getting their rocks off writing.

You really have to be as clear as possible what you expect and what you are looking for, even then you'll get guys not bothering to read and just try it on. Be prepared to wade through a lot of mails that are rubbish!

The question is not addressed to my type, but I feel I can contribute here. To be kept this way can be a fantasy, and I’ve seen it discussed. However, not only is it not practical, it is impossible. One would go insane before you know it. I doubt you’d want to have that in your –even virtual- basement. Also, I doubt a well rational person would actually allow himself to be in this, beyond fantasy.
My conclusion is treat it as a fantasy, no more. If they insist, ignore them. They are either not serious about their intent, or just weirdos.
