Status: offline 		It strikes Me as so very strange that not one person seems to comment on the overwhelming amount of fake profiles and scammers on this site.
I love the bulletin boards on collarme but the profile section really needs to be shut down and have some way to verify each entry.  Why not just shut the profile section down totally?

They also dont have a phone and a 20 dollar webcam is unthinkable because they are out of money from being financially dominated.

But on the side of fairness, the number of fakes is pretty much balanced out by the number of people whose profiles just endlessly whine about 'fakes and wannabes' and then bemoan the fact that they can't find a partner.

Odd, that.

It's not an elephant, it's a huge stack of fake profiles and scammers. As the other respondents have pointed out, this is discussed all the time.

CM does provide a reporting process, so you can report dodgy profiles - and (i think this is how it works) if enough people report a profile the sytem takes some action on it.

The "search" function is your friend. It will hook you up with the dozens of other people who have come here to whine about fakes and scammers in the last couple of months

Please send me a copy of your driver's license, your latest utility bill, and a picture of you with my username on a sign. I will be happy to verify you as real once they are received, and trust that you won't mind turning that information over at my request.
 
As I noted to one of the last whiners, this site is staffed by a small number of volunteers who simply don't have time to review/ verify 500+ new profiles daily. If the profile side bothers you so much, please feel free to not use it. Hide your profile and ignore your cmail- problem solved. That said, it works for many, so I seriously doubt that the owners will shut it down because its very existence bothers you.

As others will undoubtedly point out, someone starts a thread on this subject at least once a week. Just be happy they are so easy for you to spot and move on. If you are still not happy, ask for your money back.
