I don't drink coffee, it upsets my stomach.

But then I will indulge in a mocha twice a year, but I still get sick afterwards.

I have Moccona in 4 varieties and for some reason I cant get the hang of it.

But coffee tastes different from country to country, I have Aussie Blend 43 and Indonesian Blend 43 (From Aldi) and they are totally different.

Yet when I was in Holland Moccona was all i drank.

Very exotic!

I like coffee flavored coffee. I like it hot and black, just like My momma.

I have been getting it from Caribou Coffee lately. Their LaMinita Costa Rican coffee is just fucking excellent!

I use a generic 12 cup Mr. Coffee drip machine with the auto off timer and a delayed brew timer. I prefer Starbucks Italian Roast to any other coffee I have ever tasted in my life and I have tried a metric ton of them. I will buy and drink other brands in a pinch but prefer Starbucks Italian Roast. I have a coffee grinder but it is too messy and too much hassle and ground coffee doesn't taste all that much different to me than fresh ground whole bean so the grinder occupies its rightful place in some cabinet in the kitchen. I generally only have 2 cups a day when I wake up at 5:30 pm. A few days a week I may make a cup to go when I leave for work at night and I occasionally have 3 cups on some Saturday or Sunday mornings. There are few things as satisfying in life as a cup of great coffee.

There is no French press option. Is there another kind of coffee pot for houses?

my family had coffee trees growing in the land behind our home in Puerto Rico. the beans were roasted over an open fire then ground by hand. i got used to flying bats as a kid since they love the sweet red fruit.children had sweet cofee with lots of milk for breakfast. good ol days

I wasn't taught the art of making coffee by barbaric American dishwater drinkers. I use a coffee press like the rest of the civilized world.

Cheap Kenya AA dark roast fine espresso grind or Jamaica Blue Mountain medium grind. If you insist on a Colombian coffee, then at least have the good sense to do what the Scotts do to crappy scotch . . . blend it. There are many tolerable blends.

Of all the coffee consumed by all the people on this forum, how many of you have bought real coffee beans (green) and roasted them yourself? You don't have to have an expensive tumbler. You can use a hot air popcorn machine or even roast them in the oven as a last resort. I admit, without some expensive gear, roasting your own isn't going to be as good as a commercially roasted coffee. But if you are hardcore coffee drinker, you should roast your own at least once in your life. It will raise your awareness and appreciation for the art. And buy a coffee press for Christ's sake.
