could make for interesting get togethers with the neighbours, holly.

jim to holly "hon, could you make sure the neighbours have some fresh coffee and milk from the coffeemaker?"

you'll know your male neighbours MUCH better. and the firemen will make a point of stopping over more frequently. and as you admire the (possible) eyecandy of the firemen, just think - jim TOLD you it was ok to get the new coffee maker!

Have the slave make a pot, and drink away!

good idea....if Jim would let me have a slave.

Coffeemaker....

lose the headress and change the neck thingy to a leather collar and that's pretty much how Master gets His coffee served. He uses a drip coffee maker. i use Bustelo Coffee, boiled and then strained through a paper towel (cause i dont have the traditional strainer but working on it). the milk is scalded then added to the coffee to taste. Having some now. mmmmm...

I grew up with my Norwegian grandparents.  Norwegian babies get coffee, so I have been hooked for 60+ years now.  My Granny's method of brewing coffee was to get out a large saucepot, put grounds in the bottom along with egg shells, then boil the crap out of it & let it simmer on the back of the stove all day.  When someone wanted a cup, they would just go dip the cup into the pot.  My mother made hers in a percolator & told me that if I was going to drink coffee, I was required to drink it the proper way:  black & strong.  The closest thing to my Granny's coffee that I have tasted since is a cup of dark roast brewed coffee with 2 shots of strong espresso in it.  Yummmmmm.

I like good coffee when I can. Every morning i do the drip thing, get it ready the night before, just have to hit "on" and Waaala! it does the rest. Yuban is a decent, affordable everyday coffee. Sometimes i get in the mood for carmel brownie cookie coffee and those other chocolatey, pecan, hazelnut flavors.

Today my filter collapsed in side my coffee pot, I have grounds in ever cup, I'm drinking it anyway....crunchy coffee mmmmmm

it will go perfect with my breakfast of sweet potato fries

its going to be a weird day.
