Status: offline 		I think his point - such as it is - is that since a state of emergency has been declared, the government now has unlimited power to... well, to do whatever it is he thinks they're secretly trying to do. It all ties in somehow.

Neither of your news sources actually cite President Obama declaring a National State of Emergency. They cite his declaration of national emergency. These are two different things. A National State of Emergency is an executable executive order that contains orders for martial law. A national emergency is a situation or problem that is dealt with by national resources such as the CDC or National Guard...there is no executive order containing orders of martial law nor is martial law being declared or being enforced. No elections have been postponed...no part of every day American life or culture has been interrupted; up to and including the political bickering and violence being threatened and exercised against state senators and representatives over a health care bill.

In other words...

I can't find my damned sources fast enough and need to work. Can someone else please find the sources that cite when a person is removed from position their orders no longer hold unless the person replacing them immediately, upon succession of such position, instate those orders?

BTW....here's the link for the declaration you're looking for, Mr. Hunky. It does not, in anyway state that the United States is in a "National State of Emergency" and that any of our rights are being suspended because of it.
