And since I'm currently all alone, I'll shock you all by saying that, given a choice, this big bad Dom much prefers small and petite to the double D's in the Uber-Dom's handbook.

Aquatic, it's hard to believe that a bra only one size too small/a little tight would have that visible of an effect, but I can imagine that squishing H cups into a DD would. Personally, I have great big, tiny little anti-gravity boobies, so the only time I've had a really noticeable effect that way was with corsets with a sweetheart neckline - I kind of flopped over the top, and thought it looked sloppy and unattractive. A curved, straight, or plunge neckline corset looks much better on me.

hejira, I'm very glad that you've recovered and that you didn't need a mastectomy!

Missokyst, I agree that it sounds a bit uncomfortable and unsexy, but people were reacting about as strongly to this as they were to the gal whose master or dominant wanted to have her clit removed! I just felt it was a major over-reaction and dogpile on the OP.

realtime, I can understand where you were going with that, and I agree that restrictive clothing can be sexy, and so can having what clothes I wear dictated to me by my Master. In addition to the demi-cups and corsets suggestions, you might wish to try things like ballet boots/shoes (not the dancing kind, the fetish kind) or other heels that are a little hard to walk in, tighter/longer A-line skirts or mermaid skirts that force the woman to take smaller steps, garter belts and stockings, girdles, or other types of clothes that are restrictive or otherwise not what she would normally wear. You can also have her wear ropes under some types of clothes when you are out on a date (probably not practical for all-day, or at work).

DesFIP -> RE: Tight bras (4/3/2010 1:16:40 PM)

First off, don't order her to wear inappropriate clothing with her family or at work. You don't want to sabotage her and cause her to conclude you aren't trustworthy.

Remember that body image affects women's sexuality. So if you make her walk around looking ugly and ridiculous all day, don't expect her to be turned on by it. So when she is totally turned off and can't cum no matter what, remember that you caused it. And once she connects sex with you to being turned off, it's really hard to turn her back on.

As far as the breast cancer/bra relationship, there is no causality there. What there is in a relationship is that it's easier to do a self exam monthly with really small breasts that don't need a bra. The harder it is to test, the more likely you are to miss something. And bigger breasts are also more likely to wind up having tiny spots missed on a mammogram.

I've dated most shapes and sizes, which means bra size didn't dictate my choices - and they each have their pro's and con's anyway. ;-)

I'm just saying that if choosing a potential partner was a simple matter of walking up to a vending machine and selecting from a physical attribute menu, I'd choose small and petite etc. And red hair, long red hair. And, and....

but you can!

you can have cheeky: [sm=tongue.gif]
intellectual: [sm=writing.gif]
highly sexed: [sm=sex.gif]
long red hair: [sm=preen.gif]
athletic: [sm=pole.gif]
submissive: [sm=bowdown.gif]
well endowed AND exhibitionistic: [sm=flash.gif]

that will be $14.80 and be careful opening the cover on the drop down slot, product can be injured easily [;)]

Regardless of if you believe it or not, my experience with too-tight bras was that noticable and it's my experience that just one cup smaller on other endowed women is quite noticable. On small breasts, yes the effect is probably much less noticable.

I think you are over-reacting to how people reacted. The OP asked for opinions and some people expressed the opinion that they wouldn't like it because it would hurt and look bad.

monywildcat -> RE: Tight bras (4/5/2010 9:49:21 PM)

This question rubbed my fur the wrong way, simply because I couldn't find a better bra to wear when I had to dash out the door earlier.  But now that the hateful thing has been hurled into a corner...aaaahhhh

As for practicalities, it really isn't to wear an ill-fitting garmet that basically wraps around your torso and binds up the girls.  Ow!

Since you like to pick out the apparel for your new sub, how about going bra shopping with her?  Make sure that the style/color/texture/etc. are to your liking, and making sure that the fit is going to be complimentary?  I also saw corsets mentioned, great idea!

Or get creative and construct your own DIY bra out of duct tape?

My best advice is to educate yourself on how a bra is supposed to fit and ignore the saleswomen. But then again... I've had very bad experiences with them.

Even better?  Take a corsetry class, buy a good reliable sewing machine and start making your own demi corsets in the regency style from the early 18th century.  They're the most comfortable things in the world.

AquaticSub -> RE: Tight bras (4/6/2010 7:35:52 AM)

That would be better. Athough for those of us less inclined towards sewing, making a corset of any kind is an extremely daunting prospect. [:)]

Hi,
Master is hsuband and also work partner, I wear a classic skirt suit to our business with no shirt under jacket. I was a natural 12DD and didn't like wearing bras much and often didn't, post babies + age a flat C. Master offered me the choice of surgery as I wasn't happy. I asked surgeon to "fill the void" and make perky, he said would be a DD or E. Post surgery more like 12E or 12F. Great results, but surgeon said I should wear a bra most of the day to preserve the look, urgh!

After doing some research Master had alt solution, try corset. I got some photos of a website of leather ones I liked with advice that stiff boning gives most comfortable results, we are not into the girlie frills either. they have shelf bras to support the base of the breast. Some push the twins for cleavage look, others pull apart for work suits. Took a while to get used to first one and get cut right to suit me, but I love them, and the side benefit is I have a waist to die for. even with a fitted top, I still have that no bra look, shape and minor movement that we both love, but without the excessive bounce. Lifting my arms to hand washing has never been easier.

petmonkey -> RE: Tight bras (4/6/2010 5:28:54 PM)

If it was done on a regular enough basis, i could see it being a health and safety issue--think perpetually pinched nerve endings, not allowing lymph nodes to work smoothly, etc.
For my own "look-at-them-things" tendencies, i'd choose a really well-made, well-fitted, interestingly designed bra over the possible hotness factor of constraint any day--but that's just me.

Hi

Are any of the females here required to wear bras smaller than their natural cup size?

I'd love to hear about the practicalities, the effect, and whether or not a slightly smaller bra will contain a c-cup or high chest (even if uncomfortably) throughout the day without popping out.

Thanks

Not a sub, but I was broke until a little while ago and couldn't afford to buy new, larger bras. The smaller ones caused constant pain, sore spots, aching after taking them off to go to bed, and were generally uncomfortable.
The new ones, that actually fit, feel like they're a part of me, don't cause any soreness or pain, and I love them.

petmonkey -> RE: Tight bras (4/6/2010 7:06:59 PM)

As for "popping out": someone in a too-tight bra would, at the very least, fidget with it. Women fidgeting constantly with their clothes in order to get them to hang properly or whatever isn't all that attractive in my opinion. It's a distraction away from whatever their attention should actually be on--specifically, the world around them and their partner.

<--hikes up her oversize pants.

Maybe you are thinking along the lines that the effect would be like having her wear a pushup bra.  It wouldn't, but be an ugly distortion instead.  Why not just go bra shopping with her at a place that sells pushup bras?  A nice thin shirt over said bras would let you be the judge on how you wish her to look.

Also, for women with larger breasts (can't speak for the smaller sizes) dime store bras are worthless.  They're scraps of pretty lace that are meant to temporarily decorate, not give any all day long real support.

Expect better quality bras to cost a good $40 each.

I'm very tired, and haven't read everyone else's posts in this thread before leaving one of my own.  If I'm being an idiot, well...it won't be for the first time.
